Our passion is to expose as many others as possible to the overwhelming need in the northern Baja California region of Mexico.
Why We Do What We Do
Jesus states, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you have done for the least of these brothers and sisters of Mine, you have done it for Me.’ (Matthew 25:40) But this is not “just a request.” If you were to read this passage in its entire context, you would come to a greater understanding of its eternal consequences. Jesus, in the latter days, is basically sorting those as described above (the sheep) from those who have not served the poor and needy (the goats). The sheep will sit at his right hand in heaven. The goats, well… Which is why it is so vital to be involved. In something. Especially that which brings our Lord and Savior joy. In February 2008, I was personally involved in this outreach to Ensenada, Mexico. My heart has been wrecked ever since. No longer am I inward-focused but, rather, I have been privileged enough to have been sensitized to the needs of the poor worldwide. My passion, ever since that life-changing experience has been to expose as many others as possible to the overwhelming need in the northern Baja California region of Mexico. With that thought in mind and having just entered my 50’s, it was high time to make a difference for the Kingdom. This short-term home building trip is essentially about bringing stability, to one family at a time, in a very tangible way. But, I must warn you: this is NOT just another construction trip. It will challenge you spiritually, emotionally, and relationally in a very long-term way. Consider partnering with me. The life you change just may be your own!
